PSB: This or That & Giveaway with Karen Mahoney

Karen Mahoney is the author of The Iron Witch (Jan 2011), and even though her schedule is too busy lately for a guest post or an interview, she agreed to a fun This or That. I really liked her book (my review here) so I’m really happy to have her by my side today! Please welcome her warmly =)

Middle Age or Modern Time?
Modern Time

Movies or TV Shows?
TV Shows!! (Definitely.)

DVD or Blu-ray?
DVD. (Does that make me old-fashioned? Maybe I should re-think my answer to the first question. *G*)

Comedy or Action?
Action, baby.

American Idol or So You Think You Can Dance?
American Idol. Especially now that we have Steven Tyler!! <3

Iphone or Blackberry?
Blackberry. (Though I’d like an iPhone one day.)

Twitter or Facebook?
Twitter ALL THE WAY!! (I’m not even ON Facebook at the moment.)

Books or E-Books?
Books, I suppose. Though I have a Kindle and do like that too. But if it’s one or the other, I guess I’ll go with books. :)

Paperback or Hardcover?

The Hunger Games or Vampire Academy?
Vampire Academy! <3

Day or Night?
Night. (I am a total night owl.)

Pink or Blue?

Summer or Winter?
Summer (even though I hate getting too hot, I love the sun. And it’s not like it gets very hot in the UK, anyway!)

Cake or Pie?
Cake. (I think it’s because I’m British.)

Human or Supernatural?

Cat or Dog?
Cat! Cat! CAT!!! (I have two.)

Love or Lust?
Love. (I am a romantic…)

Late or Early?
Early, if you mean getting to appointments/meetings. Late if you mean, the time of day I prefer. :)

Thank you so much Karen for taking the time to share with us <3 It’s greatly appreciated!

Freak. That’s what her classmates call seventeen-year-old Donna Underwood. When she was seven, a horrific fey attack killed her father and drove her mother mad. Donna’s own nearly fatal injuries from the assault were fixed by magic—the iron tattoos branding her hands and arms. The child of alchemists, Donna feels cursed by the magical heritage that destroyed her parents and any chance she had for a normal life. The only thing that keeps her sane and grounded is her relationship with her best friend, Navin Sharma.

When the darkest outcasts of Faerie—the vicious wood elves—abduct Navin, Donna finally has to accept her role in the centuries old war between the humans and the fey. Assisted by Xan, a gorgeous half-fey dropout with secrets of his own, Donna races to save her friend—even if it means betraying everything her parents and the alchemist community fought to the death to protect.

Thanks for interview and giveaway. I have been looking forward to this book a quite long time, becouse I´m in love with fey and faeries YA books. I´m drooling like some stupind dog over every story, which include fae, I´m wearing iron protection, and I am propably kinda creep :D :D :D. Of course I am collecting books with that themes, but it unfortunately goes too slowly :( So thank you for a chance to get this book (and if I don´t, I´ll be happy anyway, ´cause I could hyperventilate myself :D).
    Keep going :)

  42. Reading mind

There are many reasong why I deserve to win!
First of all I love reading (but don’t have enough money to buy all the books I’d like). Second, I am stalking this book around the blogsphere, hoping to win it. Third, as an international reader, I usually pass the great books (not yet translated or that will never actually be translated because sometimes Italian publishers suck) to friends, cousing, brother, boyfriend and people in general, so they can love the book as much as I did and buy it (I actually made 10 people buy Sarah Rees Brennan’s books and many others, lol).
Okay, these reasons may not be enough, what if I say pretty please???
