Stacking The Shelves [181]

Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

If you want to find out more about Stacking The Shelves, please visit the official launch page!

Happy weekend everyone! A quick visit to my local library this week and I added these books to my shelves, at least temporarily. Actually, I'm pretty satisfied with my local public library since it has recently come out with an app that allows you to keep track of your borrowed books and to place holds. I used to do this all online but this app makes everything simpler and easier. And honestly, they have a pretty good selection!

  5. I really need to start going to the local library. lol

The Long War looks good. I'm a fan of Doctor Who, but I have to admit, I've never read any of the books. :)

  6. Heard a lot of good things about Nimona. Enjoy.

  7. Some of my books are from my library. They have a really good SciFi collection and are very open to suggestions of books to purchase.

  8. I really wish our local library is like yours. I don't think anyone goes to the library here anymore other than to do some research, and you can do that online nowadays. I don't even know if there's a local library in my city, but there's one where I used to live. Great selection. YES for Doctor Who! I need to rewatch that too coz I kinda lost track after the Ponds left. :(

  9. I have a great neighborhood library that I don't use as often as I should! Time to go back! Thanks for sharing.

  10. Haven't read anything Dr. Who before, but love the TV series. My local library isn't the best so I mostly use Overdrive to borrow Kindle books. Happy reading! :-)

  11. All of those books look like fun! I am a new follower via Bloglovin. Your blog is so full of great material, I look forward to reading your posts in the future. Please check out my blog when you have a chance. Thanks!

  12. I love borrowing from my local library. It's so easy to keep track of everything.

    Have a great week!

  13. Good to know there is a new Doctor Who book, I like to get those for my students in my library!

  14. I'm a Whovian from the days of the 9th Doctor(Christopher Eccleston) and have enjoyed a few of books about later Doctors. I hope you enjoy Shada. Libraries always have a feeling of quiet discovery. I really need to start taking my son more often.
